My name is Jonathan and I am a work from home dad with 2 young boys, living in Melbourne. My wife and I have recently swapped duties. She is now working, and I am at home looking after the kids and working on a couple of side-projects like redcordialrevolution and Igloo.

I have been thinking of doing something like this site for a long time, but haven’t had the time while I was working. Last month I (and the family) went to visit my sister‘s family and we talked about doing it, and I finally got the impetus to register the domain and get it started.

Kath is a co-editor of the site and I have been finding her input and experience with blogging to be invaluable. She really is very good at what she does. The community and the respect that she has built around whipup is extraordinary.
